Jarrett Break

Keith Jarrett Quartet - Gypsy Moth
From El Juicio (The Judgement): Collectables COL-CD 6254 [Buy]

It's rapidly turning into another one of those weeks, so while I have a moment of calm, a track from Mr Jarrett's extraordinary American Quartet from the early 1970s - Charlie Haden (b), Dewey Redman (ts) and Paul Motian (d).

Right, now back to the chaos.

    hey there,

i recently discovered your blog and it looks great! i added it to my blogroll. no need to reciprocate or anything if you don't like my blog, which is mostly political in nature.

how exactly do you arrange it so that people who check out your blog can download the tracks through yousendit.com? i understand how that site works for sending a link to someone via email, but there didn't seem to be anything on that site explaining how to use the service in the way you're using it.

any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated. i'd love to start sharing some music on my blog as well, and this seems like a cool way to do it. thanks.

What an great track. I have alot of Jarrett stuff. But I still need much of his American quartet stuff.

freeman - After you have send a file, a link is generated, you just copy that link and you it as any other link ;)

best of luck .. see you around!

Thanks Taxi Driver. KJ with Redman, Haden and Motian is certainly one of my favourite bands ever, and seemingly neglected by comparison to his work with the Standards Trio (also significant, of course). I think I have managed to track down all commercially available albums by the American quartet, and am considering another "series" :-) Watch this space

    Peace
